Community Clean-Up Day

Be part of our largest community mobilization effort of the year! The Community Clean-Up Day brings together hundreds of volunteers to beautify our neighborhoods, clean our waterways, and promote sustainable waste management practices. This half-day event will focus on collecting waste from public spaces, parks, and waterfront areas while raising awareness about environmental conservation. Volunteers will be organized into teams, each assigned to specific zones with clear objectives and proper equipment provided. Beyond the immediate impact of removing waste, this initiative serves as a platform for community education. We'll have informational stations throughout the event explaining proper waste segregation, recycling practices, and the importance of reducing single-use plastics. All necessary equipment including gloves, waste bags, safety vests, and collection tools will be provided. We'll also offer refreshments, light snacks, and a communal lunch for all participants at the end of the event. This is a family-friendly event suitable for all ages.
